About the role
Position Summary:
Atrium is partnered with a large manufacturing company on a Senior Cost Accounting Manager role which will oversee inventory valuation, standard costing, manufacturing variances, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and inventory valuation activities across manufacturing operations
- Oversee month-end close, inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, BOM maintenance, standard cost updates, and related reporting
- Establish consistent cost accounting processes, controls, policies, and best practices across multiple locations
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cost Accountants
- Drive process improvements, ERP enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA or CMA preferred
- Experience in cost and/or inventory accounting with people management experience
- Experience in SAP S4 Hana
