You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs, policies, and procedures across the company. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to financial regulations
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits across all business operations
• Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend appropriate corrective actions
• Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters and regulatory changes
• Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes and advise on necessary policy updates
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports as required by authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in compliance, legal, or audit roles within the financial services industry
• In-depth knowledge of South African financial regulations (e.g., FAIS, FICA, POPIA)
• Proven experience in risk assessment, policy development, and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment
