About the role
What You Will Do
- Responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of public works, local infrastructure, municipal roadway, trails, drainage, and land development projects.
- Conduct and manage design and plan production.
- Manage clients and supervise technical staff.
- Provide training/mentorship of other engineers.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas
- At least 10 years of experience in utility and public works design, local infrastructure, public works, municipal roadway, trails, drainage, and land development projects
- South Texas regional experience preferred
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Must be proficient in project management, administration and supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines
- Positive attitude, self-directed required
- AutoCAD Civil 3D CAD experience preferred
