Senior Caregiver

About This Role

Caring for an elderly individual by providing high-quality personal care and support is the core of this role. The Senior Caregiver will assist with daily activities, ensuring the individual's comfort, safety, and well-being, and will play a vital role in delivering personalized care tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and respectful environment
• Help with daily activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family members
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
• Support in maintaining their independence while respecting their dignity and preferences

Requirements

• Prior experience in senior care or personal caregiving is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the patient and their families
• Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures relevant to senior care
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism

Nice to have:

• Certification in caregiving or related fields
