About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the facilities management sector.
  • Conduct market research on competitors, pricing trends, customer needs, and emerging industry developments.
  • Support pipeline development and maintain accurate tracking of business opportunities and pursuits.
  • Assist in preparing business cases, revenue models, and commercially sound proposals.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits to support business development efforts.
  • Lead or support tender preparation, including documentation, technical inputs, compliance reviews, and proposal coordination.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to develop accurate, competitive, and client-focused proposals.
  • Draft and refine bespoke bid responses, ensuring proposals are polished, persuasive, and of the highest quality through strong editing and proofreading.
  • Ensure tender submissions are delivered on time and in accordance with internal governance and approval processes.
  • Work closely with HQ teams, FM operations managers, and engineering teams to understand operational strengths and service capabilities.
  • Support the development of new and value-added service offerings, such as energy optimisation, sustainability solutions, remote hands, and facility audits.
  • Build strong internal and external networks across the facilities management sector to stay informed of market developments and competitor activity.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business/Facilities Management/Engineering or equivalent
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest in business development and facilities management are welcome to apply
  • Experience in business development, sales support, or bid management within facilities operations environments will be an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Possesses a strong safety mindset and consistently demonstrates good WSH practices
