About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer to join our team on a 12-month contract. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI Stack while working closely with business stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
- Design and maintain data models, data warehouses, and dimensional models.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes using SSIS.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and reporting accuracy.
- Improve BI solution performance and troubleshoot reporting issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation for BI solutions, ETL workflows, and data models.
- Support BI projects, provide user training, and stay updated with emerging BI technologies.
Requirements

Proven experience as a BI Developer or Senior BI Developer.

Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI Stack:

Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL development, and data modelling.

Experience with data warehousing and BI performance optimization.
