About the role
Our Ottawa based client is looking for a Senior Azure Integration Developer to support enterprise application integration initiatives. The ideal consultant will bring strong hands-on Azure development experience, cloud architecture knowledge, and the ability to design secure, scalable integration solutions across complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement application integrations using Azure services
- Build solutions leveraging Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Data Factory
- Develop APIs and workflows enabling communication between internal and external systems
- Implement ETL/ELT processes and cloud-based data movement solutions
- Develop automation and integration solutions using Python
- Design secure Azure architectures including VNets, private endpoints, hub-spoke models, private DNS, and hybrid connectivity
- Implement logging, monitoring, security, and performance best practices
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Bicep
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing Azure integration solutions
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, data engineers, and technical teams
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations on Azure best practices
