Senior Associate, Outbound Marketing Strategy & Operations - Performance Marketing - Hybrid

About This Role

This role involves managing the day-to-day digital and performance marketing campaigns for a set of Capital One's U.S. Card digital acquisition channels within the Outbound Marketing team. The focus is on driving conversions rather than awareness, through hands-on channel work, developing test designs, implementing process improvements, and optimizing active programs. The Senior Associate will be an expert in outbound digital marketing, working with platforms like Google Ads, Yahoo, and Microsoft.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute campaign testing, including ad creative, landing page, audience, and channel expansion testing
• Manage outbound performance marketing campaigns, from planning and execution to analysis and reporting, collaborating with business analysts
• Oversee end-to-end ad operations to launch campaigns error-free, identify opportunities for performance optimization, and implement process improvements to streamline launch procedures
• Coordinate across internal teams, including Legal, Compliance, Brand Marketing, Customer Experience, Analytics, Data, and Technology, to execute Display ad strategies end-to-end
• Possess a solid understanding of digital performance marketing, conversion funnel optimization, and online customer acquisition
• Partner with creative and cross-functional teams to develop a new suite of creatives that ensure a seamless customer journey and data-backed hypotheses
• Serve as the subject matter expert in outbound marketing, knowledgeable in various advertising platforms, campaign settings, optimization techniques, tracking/tagging infrastructure, and inventory types
• Demonstrate a "self-starter" attitude, strong organizational skills, ownership mentality, ability to prioritize workloads, and ability to quickly learn new digital marketing and platform-specific features
• Ability to work with high-performing teammates, as well as external and internal partners across the enterprise

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Military experience
• At least 2 years of experience in email or display ad marketing
• At least 2 years of experience planning and implementing digital marketing strategies utilizing Google or other inbox servicing ad platforms
• At least 2 years of experience analyzing and evaluating campaign performance

Nice to have:

• At least 2 years of experience in paid media & performance marketing, managing high volume accounts and large media budgets
• At least 2 years of experience in D2C marketing
• At least 2 years of experience in project management
• At least 1 year of experience in social media or search engine marketing
• Prior financial industry or media agency experience
