About the role
I'm currently working on a Senior Associate, Investment Operations opportunity with a leading investment firm in Abu Dhabi.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced investment operations professional with strong public markets and middle office experience .
What you'll be doing:
- Managing the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) and ensuring accurate positions, trades and cash
- Supporting fixed income, equities and derivatives operations
- Portfolio performance measurement and analytics
- Investment compliance monitoring and resolving breaches
- Supporting new product onboarding and operational readiness
- Managing market infrastructure, counterparties and settlement workflows
- Overseeing security master, reference data and market data
- Working closely with Investment, Technology, Accounting and external providers
- Supporting automation and process improvement initiatives
What we're looking for:
- At least 10 years' experience in investment operations, middle office or a related investment function
- Strong experience within an asset manager, investment firm or financial institution
- Strong understanding of the public markets trade lifecycle
- Experience across fixed income, equities and derivatives
- Good understanding of IBOR, performance and investment compliance
- Experience with market data and reference data
- Aladdin experience is highly desirable , with eFront exposure an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
