Role Overview: The Senior Associate supports Tax Managers and Partners in managing client portfolios, overseeing engagement planning, and ensuring timely job administration. They audit tax provisions, review working papers for accuracy, and execute compliance tasks with minimal supervision. When appropriate, they supervise associate staff on large, complex engagements.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should have at least three years of investment partnership or mutual fund tax experience in public accounting, a relevant bachelor's degree or advanced tax credentials, and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, partnership tax regulations, and accounting procedures. Strong skills in reviewing tax returns (1065 and 1120-RIC), excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities are essential.
