About This Role
This role as a senior assistant accountant in audit is for a driven analyst who can quickly identify connections between figures and processes. You will work for ambitious companies across various industries within a multidisciplinary team, learning from experienced colleagues while also guiding and coaching assistants in audit work.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex audit work (with guidance where necessary) and complete it within the set time and budget
- Approach audits practically and efficiently
- Design less complex audit work
- Guide junior assistants and interns
- Provide input within your department regarding the correct interpretation of our methodology
- Proactively seek opportunities to maintain your productivity
- Position yourself as the daily point of contact for the client on-site
- Identify cross-selling and additional work opportunities and actively respond by connecting the right people
Requirements
- Reside in the Amsterdam or Noordwijk area
- Work in an orderly manner, excel in your role as a budding project manager, be objective, curious, and take initiative
- Be integer, critical, ambitious, and set high standards for your own work
- Have a strong affinity for ICT and IT applications in audit practice
- Follow (digital) developments closely and act proactively when opportunities arise
- Be social and possess good communication skills
- Be client-focused and a team player, enjoy collaborating in a professional and informal team, and like working for and with clients
