Product Owner Data Marketplace What you can look forward to as a Lead Engineer Data Marketplace:

As a Product Owner for our Data Marketplace at ZF, youll be the driver for change, leveraging our Data Marketplace to unlock the full potential of data assets across the organization. Youll lead a cross-functional project team, collaborating with data engineers and IT Developers.
- Act as a promoter for our Data Marketplace, guiding the business through effective discovery, management, and utilization of data assets and data products. Create compelling user stories, assess their business impact, and drive the deployment throughout ZF.
- Maintain and seek robust internal communication, engaging with current and prospective stakeholders to build a collaborative data community.
- Develop and enhance a clear vision for Data Marketplace consisting of internal and external stakeholders, data monetization, etc and identify opportunities to grow in this direction
- Establish and propagate a robust framework for data governance, setting standards and best practices in cooperation with corporate and IT functions.
- Provide expert consultation to IT Developers and Business on creating and modelling Data Products, emphasizing usage and creation of guidelines, best practices, and performance optimization.
- Offer proactive support for the ZF Data Marketplace platforms (Web Application, .NET Framework), driving enhancements, development and contact with data providers.
- Design and implement operational processes for the Data Marketplace to support the discovery, management, and acquisition of data assets.
Your profile as a Lead Engineer Data Marketplace:
- A Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge and good understanding of data governance, data marketplace and data product concept
- Minimum 5-Year-Experience for working in Data Governance, BI / Data Analytics projects or similar experiences
- Proficiency in data modeling, ensuring data quality and security.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a methodical, organized, and dependable approach to work.
- A thorough understanding of Database, Data Lake/Data Platform, Cloud technologies, and tools for Data Cataloging and Data Virtualization.
- SAP BW or Azure experience preferred
