About This Role
Senior Animator / Video Editor is a full-time, in-office role in Patna, Bihar, for a creative, skilled, and experienced individual to join a team launching a new YouTube channel. The role involves independently creating high-quality animated videos, engaging visual content, and professional video edits, with a focus on strong animation skills, creative storytelling, and experience producing content for YouTube and other social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging 2D animations, motion graphics, and animated videos for YouTube
- Edit professional YouTube videos, including long-form content, YouTube Shorts, and social media reels
- Develop animated characters, backgrounds, transitions, and visual effects
- Convert scripts and ideas into engaging animated stories and videos
- Create explainer videos, storytelling animations, and educational or entertainment content
- Add voiceovers, background music, sound effects, subtitles, and transitions
- Design attractive YouTube thumbnails and other visual assets
- Work on storyboarding, scene planning, and animation sequences
- Ensure videos are visually appealing, engaging, and optimized for YouTube audiences
- Maintain consistent animation quality, branding, and visual style
- Manage multiple video projects and deliver content within deadlines
- Research animation trends, creative techniques, and popular YouTube content formats
- Collaborate with the content team to develop fresh video concepts and ideas
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in animation, video editing, or digital content creation preferred
- Strong understanding of 2D animation, motion graphics, and video editing
- Ability to independently create complete animated videos from concept to final output
- Good sense of storytelling, timing, visual composition, and creativity
- Knowledge of YouTube video formats, audience engagement, and content trends
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to experiment with new creative ideas
- Previous experience creating animated YouTube videos will be preferred
- Candidates must be willing to work from the office in Patna
Nice to have:
- Experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate, Blender, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CapCut / DaVinci Resolve
- Experience with AI-powered animation and video creation tools
- Experience in animated YouTube channels, cartoon animation, explainer videos, storytelling animation, educational animation, motion graphics, character animation, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, AI-assisted animation, video editing and post-production
