About the role

Job Summary

Provides senior level analyst support for advanced provider data management (PDM) activities including analyzing business processes related to PDM, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions to optimize performance. Ensures accurate and timely maintenance of critical provider information for all provider databases, and application of business rules as it pertains to contracting, network management and credentialing.

Essential Job Duties

• Provides first-level triage and support for provider data management (PDM) analysts, and assists with fielding general questions.
• Leads cross-functional projects from initiation to completion - ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements, and translate accordingly into comprehensive business and functional specifications.
• Analyzes complex health care data sets to identify trends, patterns and insights that drive informed decision-making and process improvements.
• Evaluates existing workflows, procedures, and systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization - proposes and implements innovative solutions.
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across departments.
• Develops presentations to communicate key metrics, performance indicators and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Provides training, support, and guidance to end-users on new processes, systems and tools - ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.

Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of business analytics experience in health care, preferably in a customer/provider services setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Presentation and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Critical-thinking skills, and attention to detail.
• Organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks to meet internal deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office suite (including Excel) and applicable software program(s) proficiency.
