Meezan Express is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with at least three years of professional experience to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will oversee key accounting functions including account reconciliation, general ledger management, and the processing of accounts payable and receivable. This role requires thorough financial statement analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. The Accountant will manage a small team of two members, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and monitor financial transactions. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including account reconciliation and general ledger maintenance.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee the work of the accounting team, providing mentorship, review, and support to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies in records.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
- Assist in audits by providing required information and documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
