About the role
Atrium is recruiting for a Senior Accountant on behalf of a global corporation based in Atlanta Metro. This person will be responsible for managing the consolidated month-end close and financial reporting processes for the business. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, foreign currency (FX), and GAAP reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes on multiple currencies, and prepare intercompany elimination entries
- Support the month-end close process in accordance with GAAP accounting protocol
- Prepare and review journal entries related to consolidations and close activities
- Perform account analyses and support balance sheet integrity during close including variance analysis
- Participate in process improvement initiative related to business integrations, systems implementations, and process automations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
- SAP, Oracle, Workday experience
- 4+ years of experience
- CPA is required
- Public accounting experience is a plus
