SENAInnova – Productivity for Businesses, is a program created by SENA and Colombia Productiva to provide support, specialized assistance, and co-financing to companies implementing projects that increase their productivity and competitiveness through technological sophistication and development. This program is part of the agreement between SENA and Colombia Productiva, which aims to “combine technical, administrative, and financial efforts that contribute to increased levels of innovation and productivity through the use and adoption of knowledge and technology, by co-financing business projects and production chains.”
The call is aimed at the productive sector to generate new value-added products, processes and services, based on knowledge and innovation that allow leveraging growth, development and progress in the regions of Colombia, such as new enabling technologies in traditional sectors, respectful, efficient and sustainable use of biodiversity, valuation of local and traditional knowledge, global and sustainable businesses, among others.
Two Types Of Projects Will Be Co-financed
- Product or service sophistication: that is, projects that seek the renewal of the company's portfolio, through the development of new products or services or the sophistication of existing ones, either by adapting them to new geographies or extending the attributes of current products in the markets.
- Process sophistication: This refers to projects that aim to improve the administrative, production, or marketing processes for goods or services within a company. These projects should primarily focus on meeting demand, meaning delivering the product or service to the customer on time, without additional costs, and with improved quality through more efficient and sophisticated processes.
