Selenium & Python Automation Developer

Experience : 6+Years

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and Python frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest).
• Implement effective API testing and automation using REST APIs and Python libraries (e.g., requests).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Analyze software functionalities, identify potential issues, and report defects effectively.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts to ensure smooth test execution.
• Maintain and update existing test automation frameworks and libraries.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Selenium, Python testing libraries, and automation best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.

Specific Skills
Required :

• 6-12 years of experience as a Selenium and Python developer.
• Strong understanding of software validation and automation principles.
• Proficiency in Python programming with a deep knowledge of functions, classes, decorators, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and automation using REST APIs and Python libraries.
• Hands-on experience with web UI testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver and Python frameworks.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts and understanding of L2/L3 protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing etc), MPLS TE, L2VPN.
• Basic understanding of Git, Jenkins, and JMeter (or any other performance testing tools).
• Good understanding of test cycles, QA methodologies, and requirement analysis.
• Ability to write clear and concise test plans and test cases.
