About This Role
This role is for a project manager in cybersecurity, leading one or more small to medium-sized projects to build, transfer, or migrate customer security systems successfully. The project manager oversees project members' processes and person-hour management, proposing changes or alternatives for scope and schedule as needed.
Responsibilities
- Define, schedule, budget, and execute one or more small to medium-sized projects
- Create detailed work instructions and obtain stakeholder agreement and approval on various project aspects, making adjustments as appropriate
- Participate in delivery assurance reviews to confirm compliance with project management policies and procedures
- Assemble and communicate with project team members, ensuring they understand deadlines, assignments, and objectives
- Perform actual work as needed
- Oversee project deliverables and manage costs, schedules, and quality
- Ensure schedules and budgets are met, making corrections as necessary
- Continuously review project status and identify potential project risks
- Recommend solutions to mitigate risks and implement them appropriately
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to manage changes in project technical requirements, business requirements, and schedules
- Provide input on necessary changes based on current project status
- Manage customer and project team expectations for agreed-upon project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics
- Recommend changes or alternatives based on performance and metrics
- Supervise project personnel, assign work, and provide guidance on the timeliness and completeness of project objectives
- Address performance issues in accordance with established guidelines
- Provide performance information upon project completion
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT project management experience
- PMP or other project management certification
- Experience using project phase architectures, development, integration, and deployment-related technologies and approaches such as PMBOK
- Experience using common estimation and project management tools
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
- Flexible and creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Business-level English proficiency
