Security Program Manager, DC Security

About This Role

This role involves contributing to the design, installation, and integration of security systems equipment, including Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems. The Security Program Manager will also be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of security systems equipment. The position suits an innovative and highly organized individual with in-depth knowledge of security technology, capable of delivering results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, installation, and integration of security systems equipment, including Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems
• Be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of security systems equipment
• Work in all related disciplines and at all levels, from technology research to system design and layout, oversight of construction and implementation, as well as maintenance and upgrades
• Assist with the development, implementation, and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region
• Provide a high level and quality of customer service
• Ensure access control effectiveness
• Protect customer data, employees, and visitors
• Observe Physical Security Standards and Programs that support the goals of the Global Physical Security Team
• Enable local site managers to draw related services from the team in a self-service manner
• Demonstrate excellent project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effectively prioritize tasks and operate seamlessly across organizational boundaries
• Execute and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs to security system equipment
• Ensure compliance with physical security project standards, project Scopes of Work, budgets, and timelines
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and change outs
• Support security system equipment commissioning
• Complete final Test and Acceptance of security systems
• Build and deploy training programs for all users of physical security systems

Requirements

• Experience with physical security control and surveillance systems
• Experience in physical security program management for large, complex installations
• Advanced knowledge and experience in the Security Integrator Industry
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BlueBeam, or other design tools
• High ethical standards, with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
• Advanced skills in all Microsoft products, with a special emphasis on Excel
