Security Officer

About This Role

This security officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling various locations. The role involves preserving order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area, often providing customer service and information to employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers

Requirements

• Driver Certification required
• Pass drug screen and background check
• Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
