Security Manager

About This Role

This role involves assisting with and coordinating security matters for logistics operations, including audits, risk assessments, and incident reporting. The Security Manager will ensure compliance with security standards, monitor physical security devices, and provide security awareness training to the local workforce.

Responsibilities

• Assist Logistics Security in preparing for security audits (internal and external) and risk assessments
• Support Logistics Security in following up on corrective actions and liaising with law enforcement
• Give consultation and coordinate functions in security issues with regional/sub-regional Logistics Security management
• Collate details of incidents and report them to local management and Logistics Security
• Evaluate information from branches and check for suspicious circumstances
• Monitor the implementation of DHL Logistics security standards, instructions, and guidelines in close cooperation with Country Security Management or Regional Security Support Management
• Check installed physical security devices for possible malfunctions or needed corrections (adjustments)
• Provide general security information and security awareness training (SAFE) to local workforce

Requirements

• At least 6 years of working experience in Safety & Security background
• Knowledge of Safety & Security Management System, especially in Logistics & Supply Chain business, is preferred
• Good integrity and communication skills
• Analytical thinking and systematic problem solving
• Basic knowledge of finance and administration
• Good communication in both Thai and English
• Able to work from G Tower Grand Rama 9 as the main seat and visit sites in outer areas of Bangkok such as Bang Na and Wang Noi area (travelling more than 70%)
