This Security Manager role is responsible for ensuring the integrated protection of people, assets, and data through a participatory, multidisciplinary, and value-oriented corporate security model. The role transforms the Security function from a reactive operational oversight to a strategic lever for prevention, resilience, and business continuity, promoting a shared and responsible security culture at all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
Define and oversee the corporate security model, translating business objectives into operational priorities, homogeneous standards, and coherent implementation plans across the entire network.
Evolve the function from a reactive to a preventive and structured logic, strengthening anticipation, control, and organizational response capabilities.
Lead initiatives to reduce inventory losses, internal and external fraud, and organized retail crime, with particular attention to high-vulnerability contexts.
Develop root cause analyses, structural countermeasures, and risk indicator monitoring systems, measuring the return on investment of control activities.
Coordinate the handling and management of reports from the network and corporate functions, supervising internal investigations into fraud, anomalies, and non-compliant behaviors.
Transform audit and verification findings into corrective, preventive, and improvement actions for governance processes.
Oversee the compliance, reliability, and evolution of physical security systems — video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control — according to a structured lifecycle management model.
Promote the adoption of advanced technological solutions, including analytics and artificial intelligence tools for predictive and continuous monitoring purposes.
Coordinate organizational preparedness for critical events and crisis situations, ensuring clear escalation protocols, rapid activation, and operational continuity.
Ensure the updating and effective application of Business Continuity plans, incident management procedures, and systematic post-event analysis.
Disseminate a shared security culture, in which every employee actively contributes to risk prevention; coordinate training programs and networks of contacts in retail stores.
Collaborate with corporate functions — Operations, HR, IT, Legal, Compliance, Technical Directorate — and with external institutions to integrate security into business processes and ensure full regulatory compliance.
Ensure a constant and periodic presence at the various retail stores nationwide to monitor the effectiveness of security measures, support local teams, and conduct direct operational checks; available for frequent travel.
