Security Manager

About This Role

This security management role is responsible for overseeing the safety and protection of all company assets, resources, information, and personnel. The position suits a candidate with strong leadership and incident management skills to prevent and respond to security breaches.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, review, control, and manage security to safeguard all assets, resources, information, image, and personnel from damages and losses through criminal acts, negligence, or otherwise
• Manage and oversee the security guards
• Manage the security operations budget
• Manage work schedules, task allocations, and monitor personnel performance
• Plan and coordinate emergency and alarm response
• Monitor the CCTV cameras and their functionality
• Monitor the door access system and their functionality
• Liaise with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies to manage security operations or activities
• Anticipate, identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a security-related profession, with at least 3 years in a management position
• Knowledgeable in security systems, security regulations, and procedures
• Extensive experience in incident management skills, including prompt response, risk assessment, and implementation of appropriate mitigation measures
• Demonstrated leadership abilities through effective team management and fostering a collaborative working environment
• Excellent in both verbal and written communication skills
