About This Role
This Security Manager role involves planning, developing, and managing the corporate physical security program under senior management direction. Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and manage the corporate physical security program under senior management direction
- Develop an efficient and safe operation of the facility's physical security operations
- Manage the development and implementation of access and perimeter control operational procedures, conveying and verifying security requirements at the assigned facility
- Manage loss prevention and detection services and enforce administrative procedures
- Develop and manage corrective actions to upgrade the physical and technical posture of the site
- Manage the development and enhancements of security inspections procedures to prevent safety hazards, and ensure proper procedures are followed
- Act as liaison to field operations in the areas of design and implementation of physical security systems
- Identify and recommend electronic access control equipment designed to detect unauthorized entry into facilities or property
- Monitor performance and assignments of personnel and make sporadic inspections to ensure they are properly equipped, trained, and fulfilling their duties in compliance with organization policies
- Direct personnel responsible for electronic and physical security systems, evaluate performance, and develop processes and procedures to minimize risks
- Monitor and direct Emergency Response operational plans and related activities as required
- Coordinate physical security administrative and operational matters with management, local law enforcement, and client/customers to ensure continuity of operations
- Manage activities and provide leadership direction to the professional, technical, and support staff within the organization unit
