Job Summary

We are seeking vigilant, disciplined, and observant Security & Loss Prevention Officers to join our team. The successful candidates will work closely with the Surveillance Team to maintain a safe and secure environment, monitor activities, prevent theft and losses, and support effective security operations.

The role involves both physical security duties and surveillance-related responsibilities, including personnel and property searches where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the premises, including staff, visitors, contractors, and other authorized persons.
• Work closely with the Surveillance Team to identify and report suspicious activities, security breaches, and potential losses.
• Conduct authorized searches of personnel, bags, packages, and other items in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor movement of people, goods, equipment, and company property within and around the premises.
• Support the prevention, detection, and investigation of theft, fraud, pilferage, and other forms of loss.
• Observe CCTV footage and promptly escalate unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, searches, observations, and access control activities.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and breaches of company security procedures.
• Enforce established security policies and procedures professionally and respectfully.
• Conduct routine patrols and security checks of designated areas.
• Protect company assets, employees, customers, and visitors.
• Prepare clear and timely incident reports when required.
• Perform other security and loss-prevention duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of ND (National Diploma) from a recognized institution.
• Previous experience in security, loss prevention, surveillance, asset protection, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
• Physically fit and capable of performing routine security duties.
• Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, discipline, and a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Must be comfortable performing personnel and property searches as part of the job.
