Duties

Duties: Responsible for checking credentials of all individuals entering any building controlled by the State National Guard to ensure they are authorized to enter. Maintaining integrity of assigned posts and areas. Reports all matters, which involve the security and safety of personnel or the protection of property. Preparing written security violation reports and other associated forms, checklist, memoranda, and correspondence.
Qualifications
Bonus / Incentive Recipients: If you are currently receiving any type of incentive such as, bonus, student loan repayment, or GI Bill kicker, these incentives will stop effective on the first day of full time employment with the National Guard. Contact your Education Services Office with any questions and to determine if you will incur a debt.

Experience, training or education which demonstrates the applicants ability to follow directions, to read and understand a variety of instructions, regulations and procedures.

Specialized Experience: Must have 6 months of experience in the following:
Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of guarding.
Ability to deal effectively with others thru written and oral communications.
Knowledge of federal and local laws, rules, and regulations.
Skill in forming effective interpersonal relationships and cooperation from others in diverse situations.
Ability to compile data and analyze information.
