About The Role We are looking for a Security Engineer to design, implement, and support electronic security systems across commercial and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project teams to ensure security solutions meet technical, operational, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Alarm Systems.
- Prepare engineering documentation and technical specifications.
- Review technical submissions and contractor proposals.
- Support system testing and commissioning.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Troubleshoot security system issues and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
- 2-5 years of security engineering experience.
- Familiarity with CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems, or Electronic Security Systems.
- Ability to understand networking concepts and troubleshoot networking issues, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and network diagrams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in commercial buildings or data centre environments.
- Familiarity with security standards and system integration.
- Experience supporting commissioning of security systems.
