Security Engineer

About This Role

Identifying and strengthening security across systems and infrastructure is the core of this engineering role. The Security Engineer will conduct internal security assessments, implement countermeasures, and automate security practices to safeguard company data. This position involves partnering with privacy experts to translate regulatory requirements into robust technical safeguards and staying ahead of emerging threats.

Responsibilities

• Assess and strengthen security by identifying security loopholes across systems and infrastructure using modern security tools, automation, and continuous testing
• Attack and defend by conducting internal security assessments and implementing countermeasures that safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of company data
• Automate security practices by designing and building solutions that embed strong security controls directly into infrastructure and engineering workflows
• Partner on privacy and compliance by working with privacy experts to translate regulatory requirements into robust, practical, technical safeguards
• Stay ahead of threats by tracking emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security practices, and share knowledge with Spooners to continuously strengthen the security posture

Requirements
