Seasonal Warehouse Clerk

About This Role

This full-time seasonal warehouse clerk position supports the warehouse management team in the daily operations of the warehouse. The role involves coordinating shipping and receiving activities, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with company standards for safety and productivity. It suits a detail-oriented individual who can maintain fulfillment ratios and adhere to strict schedules.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for personal safety and the well-being of all peer associates
• Conduct loading and unloading of trailers in a safe and efficient manner
• Move product from one location to another safely and efficiently
• Obey all traffic and speed signs throughout the commissary facility, inside and out
• Wear all equipment safety gear and safety belt as per company's policies and procedures
• Supply raw materials from storage areas to all production departments
• Pick up finished goods from production areas and store them safely and efficiently
• Dispose of recyclables, trash, and waste in designated bins and/or trash receptacles
• Perform all picking, staging, and loading activities to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner
• Ensure that documentation for each load upon completion is completed, signed off, and provide final checklists to Supervisor or Leads for final issuing of bill of lading and final release of shipment
• Ensure full compliance with facility and department safety rules, HACCP, SSOP's & GMP's according to Company's Food Safety guidelines
• Perform the transport handling of all shipments, loading and unloading
• Ensure that all raw materials and finished goods are properly stored according to Company's Foods Safety standards
• Report immediately to the Supervisor any driving accidents and/or property and material damage
• Relieve other forklift associates when taking breaks
• Execute the proper and smooth functioning of all picking, storing, shipping, and receiving activities
• Assist Warehouse Team in the management of the entire inventory in the warehouse
• Follow all necessary documentation and legal procedures for dispatch and receiving goods
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and packaging of goods and materials
• Ensure that the work area is kept clean and in an orderly manner
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Adhere to all local and state health and sanitation laws and regulations
• Perform any other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent education
• Must be able to operate pallet-wrapping machines
• Must have a solid attendance record
