This fully remote Senior Scrum Master role involves leading and managing technology engineering projects and product teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive overall programs, playing a pivotal leadership role in fostering growth across the project and product team. The Senior Scrum Master will ensure adherence to CAVA agile principles and practices while delivering high-quality software products within specified timelines.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end execution of engineering projects/products, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and objectives
Implement proactive measures to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize disruptions
Develop plans in collaboration with leaders on goals, budgets, schedules, and methods for measuring results
Align with team(s) to set, track, and record metrics, managing programs to adhere to milestones
Drive communication plans and provide status updates to stakeholders regarding milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
Participate in budget process standards in collaboration with the Program Manager, Finance and ITLT to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards
Partner with vendors, managing relationships and contracts to support project objectives
Drive best practices, templates, tools, and partnerships to expand and grow the organization
Earn the trust of team members and managers by consistently embracing CAVA's values
Actively contribute to the PMO department to complete tasks and meet company goals
Serve as both a facilitator and coach for teams
Drive the dependency strategy across the technology organization in collaboration with other scrum masters and delivery leads
Requirements
4+ years experience in technology and PMO space, with increasing levels of responsibility
Proven success managing concurrent technical projects/product cycles with demonstrated abilities as a leader utilizing project management skills, principles, theories, and concepts
History of developing strong relationships across IT and business organizations
Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company goals and market trends while adapting to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
Solid understanding of information technology, specifically with data teams and environments, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and and non-technical stakeholders
Accountable for the overall delivery of highly complex, cross-functional projects/products impacting the enterprise, accountable for scope, schedule, and communication management

Ability to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies, with a knack for understanding all issues and translating them into process improvement solutions
Ability to provide clear rationale for designs and strategies in a compelling, context-appropriate manner to diverse audiences
Proven experience supporting multiple Scrum teams simultaneously
Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum ceremonies, roles, and practices
Ability to coach and educate teams on Scrum methodology and continuously reinforce effective ways of working
Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organization
Ability to stay closely connected to the team, ask thoughtful questions, identify risks or blockers, and ensure work remains on the right path
Confidence escalating issues when needed and helping teams resolve impediments
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams, product partners, and leadership
A proactive, team-oriented approach
Advanced skills with Microsoft tools and Jira/Atlassian
Demonstrated experience of coaching teams through Agile adoption or improvement
