This Scrum Master role is for a seasoned subject matter expert who will guide and coach teams in Scrum and Agile practices. The primary responsibility is to boost team effectiveness by managing key projects, championing cross-team alignment, and operationalizing processes to ensure development teams function effectively.
Responsibilities
Foster a self-organizing and empowered environment that enables teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget
Facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Ensure that teams adhere to the Scrum framework, follow agile best practices, and utilize appropriate tools and metrics to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement
Foster effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of the project goals, priorities, and timelines
Proactively address any conflicts or challenges that may hinder team performance and delivery
Collaboratively identify and synchronize project interdependencies across multiple teams
Facilitate effective resource allocation across the programs
Drive the continuous improvement of agile processes, methodologies, and tools across the organization
Identify and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality of deliverables
Encourage innovation to foster a culture of continuous leading and growth
Ensure the program benefits remain viable throughout the program, communicating status and date changes and actively manage dependencies
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and manage these expectations regarding project scope, timelines, and deliverables
Collaborate closely with product owners to prioritize backlog items and ensure alignment with business goals
Provide regular project status updates and communicate any risks or impediments that may impact project success

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Project Management or related field
Seasoned Scrum Master experience in an ICT environment, managing software projects and working with software development teams
Seasoned experience in Scrum Management
Seasoned experience of Agile concepts and principles
Seasoned experience as a coach and mentor in agile practices (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
Seasoned experience with contemporary software development methodologies
Seasoned experience with widely successful Agile techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
Nice to have:
Relevant certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master
Other related certifications and/or training (for example - SAFe DeVos, Implementing SAFe etc.)
