About This Role
This Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Manager role involves leading two cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring predictable delivery, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Agile delivery, Scrum, SAFe, Jira, Jira Align, backlog management, and Agile metrics, along with strong stakeholder management and team coaching skills.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
- Lead and support cross-functional Agile teams to ensure predictable sprint and Program Increment (PI) delivery
- Use Jira and Jira Align to manage backlogs, track progress, monitor delivery metrics, and maintain dashboards
- Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers to prioritize backlogs, refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and improve estimation
- Identify and resolve technical, organizational, and process-related impediments that affect delivery
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies, manage delivery risks, and ensure timely escalation of critical issues
- Track Agile metrics, including velocity, cycle time, throughput, and work in progress (WIP), to improve team performance
- Support SAFe practices, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and follow-up activities
- Coach teams on Agile principles, self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Release teams, and business stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency
- Provide regular delivery updates, reporting, and documentation using Microsoft Office tools
Requirements
- Strong experience in Agile Delivery Leadership and Scrum Master responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Jira Align
- Experience with SAFe, PI Planning, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
- Strong knowledge of backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, estimation, and release planning
- Experience tracking Agile metrics, including velocity, cycle time, throughput, and WIP
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to manage dependencies, resolve impediments, and drive delivery outcomes across multiple teams
