About This Role
This role is for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery processes and support high-performing software development teams. The successful candidate will drive Agile best practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage team collaboration, and remove impediments that impact delivery performance. The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Development Teams to ensure effective implementation of Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices across all project workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile and Scrum processes across development teams
- Promote Agile values, principles, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle
- Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile methodologies
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Support Agile maturity and capability development across project teams
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives
- Coordinate backlog refinement and grooming sessions with Product Owners and development teams
- Ensure sprint goals and objectives are clearly defined and understood
- Monitor sprint progress and support teams in achieving sprint commitments
- Track team velocity, sprint performance, and Agile delivery metrics
- Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams including developers, testers, architects, UX teams, and stakeholders
- Encourage effective communication and teamwork across project workstreams
- Support alignment between business priorities and technical delivery activities
- Assist teams in maintaining focus on project objectives and delivery commitments
- Foster a self-organizing and high-performing team environment
- Identify, track, and remove impediments affecting team productivity and delivery
- Escalate risks, dependencies, and issues when necessary
- Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to resolve challenges impacting project timelines
- Support proactive risk identification and mitigation activities
- Ensure smooth workflow and efficient delivery processes
- Monitor Agile delivery performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Maintain Agile artifacts, sprint reports, and team performance metrics
- Support release planning and delivery coordination activities
- Ensure adherence to established Agile governance practices
- Contribute to project reporting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support successful delivery of platform modules and project milestones
