This role is for a Scientist I who will join an international team dedicated to improving healthcare. The core of the job involves expert execution and data analysis, with a focus on communicating findings and implementing process improvements. Responsibilities
Proactively seek to improve the technical robustness of existing methods, techniques, or equipment through new technologies or advances
Troubleshoot deviations, technical issues, or problems encountered in any stage of experimentation, collection, analysis, or documentation
Ensure adherence to milestones, timelines, and budgets
Utilize expertise in the interpretation of data to drive decisions, monitor metrics, manage queries, and other GDS R&D related deliverables
Resolve complex data analysis issues and coach others with data challenges
Represent the function at interdepartmental meetings and communicate actionable insights from data analysis
Independently design and develop non-complex investigation protocols or procedures, engaging appropriate stakeholders and partners
Contribute to the development of strategies and plans, consistently asking questions to generate alternative solutions
Identify risks and consider dependencies and limitations
Actively contribute to patent filing activities, including experimentation and drafts of filings
Engage with the IP team as needed and evaluate the patent landscape to understand FTO and opportunities for creating new IP
Utilize knowledge of processes and available and/or emerging technologies to develop new ways of working and improve technical processes
Demonstrate the ability to make connections or identify missing pieces to challenge the status quo and modify procedures, methods, approaches, or technologies
Identify outside collaborators and technology that can drive innovative improvements and/or new methods for Grifols products
Conduct root cause analysis to identify problems and seek out academic and scientific resources to define and implement solutions
Organize, synthesize, and objectively interpret information in a clear and succinct manner
Develop logical connections in data to answer key questions, considering limitations and relevance of data and information
Collect, collate, and integrate information, including input from appropriate stakeholders, for solution development, decision making, and implementation
Deliver engaging and effective presentations of increasing complexity with increased proficiency in facilitation skills
Create credible and non-complex written and oral content utilizing graphs, charts, and other visuals that clearly communicate data and ideas
