School Psychologist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic School Psychologist to join our educational team, committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, collaborate with educators and families, and implement strategies that promote social-emotional well-being and academic success. Your expertise will help identify student needs, develop individualized support plans, and ensure compliance with special education laws, all while making a positive impact on students’ lives. Evaluations range from $700 to $800 per case.

Duties

• Conduct student psychoeducational evaluations.
• Participate in student support team meetings and eligibility meetings.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of child & family counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and behavioral health practices.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other special education needs.
• Proficiency in conducting psychological testing, behavioral assessments, social-emotional student assessments, and special education diagnostic testing.
• Skilled in collaboration with educators, parents, healthcare providers, social workers, and other professionals for comprehensive student case management.
• Excellent communication skills for working with children and families from diverse backgrounds while maintaining confidentiality.
