Registered Nurse (RN), School Nurse for 2026 to 2027 School Year

$50 to $55+ per hour | 1099 Independent Contractor
We are actively recruiting Registered Nurses for school coverage assignments for the upcoming school year in all NYC schools.

What you’ll do
- Provide nursing coverage during the school day in assigned schools
- Administer medication and basic clinical care as needed
- Support students with chronic health conditions
- Respond to school-based health concerns and emergencies
- Complete required documentation and maintain health records
- Coordinate with school teams and families to promote student well-being
Requirements
- Active NYS RN license
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or community health preferred
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently
