School Bus Driver

About This Role

This role involves safely transporting Special Education students to and from school, ensuring a friendly and secure environment. It is ideal for individuals who are committed to making a difference and are willing to be trained to become a licensed and certified school bus driver.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus and transport students in a safe and courteous manner
• Greet students, ensure on-time schedule and maintain a safe environment
• Notify dispatch of any incidents, accidents, or mechanical concerns
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• 21 years old to drive a large bus and ability to secure a CDL with school bus permit

• A valid driver

• Sit for extended periods of time

• Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance

• Move up and down stairs easily

• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
