About This Role
Managing the daily administration of the school is a key responsibility in this front-line position, which involves parent communication, student records, payments, scheduling, and reception duties. You will serve as the first point of contact for parents, students, and prospective inquiries in a busy educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the reception counter and daily administrative operations
- Attend to WhatsApp, telephone, and walk-in inquiries professionally
- Respond to parents and prospective students promptly and accurately
- Handle new student inquiries, trial classes, registrations, and enrollments
- Manage student attendance and class replacement arrangements
- Maintain and update student records and class information
- Monitor monthly fee payments and follow up on outstanding payments
- Issue payment reminders and maintain accurate payment records
- Coordinate with teachers regarding attendance, schedules, and class-related matters
- Prepare notices, messages, basic reports, and administrative documents
Requirements
- Must be computer and technology savvy
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, email, and online systems
- Able to learn and use new software and administrative systems
- Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Able to communicate confidently and professionally with parents
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Detail-oriented and careful when handling records and payments
- Responsible, punctual, and dependable
