School Administrator

About This Role

Serving as the primary administrative leader, the School Administrator provides leadership for the administrative, operational, and community life of the school. Working closely with the Board of Directors, Faculty Chair, Executive Team, and broader school community, this position plays a central role in supporting the school’s mission, organizational health, and long-term sustainability. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and self-directed leader with experience in nonprofit, educational, or mission-driven organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, administrative systems, staff supervision, financial oversight, enrollment support, community relations, compliance, facilities coordination, and strategic planning
• Work closely with the Board of Directors, Faculty Chair, Executive Team, Parent Hui, and school community to support collaborative governance and ensure the healthy functioning of the school
• Supervise non-faculty staff
• Oversee school operations and regulatory compliance
• Support budget development and financial planning
• Provide enrollment and outreach leadership
• Support fundraising efforts
• Manage parent and community relations
• Oversee facilities
• Participate in AWSNA accreditation and institutional development processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, education administration, organizational leadership, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of administrative leadership experience
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
• Experience managing budgets
• Experience supervising staff
• Experience working with boards or governing bodies
• Experience coordinating complex organizational operations
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• United States work authorization
• Strong computer and organizational skills
