About This Role

This full-time, temporary-to-permanent School Administrator role is based in a large primary school in Stechford, Birmingham. The successful candidate will manage reception duties, monitor pupil attendance, maintain school records, handle enquiries, and provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school office. The role suits an experienced, organised, approachable, and confident administrator who can thrive in a busy school environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a school office or administrative environment
• Experience using school management systems such as SIMS or Arbor
• Experience managing pupil attendance, reception duties, and general school administration
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Professional, friendly, and adaptable approach with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment
