Job Description We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal East, Quebec, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. As a Scale Clerk , you will be responsible for tracking material receipts and shipments. You will weigh materials, produce weigh tickets, and respond appropriately to customers.
What you’re responsible for:
- Greet customers and provide courteous service upon arrival.
- Weigh trucks and enter information into the system.
- Prepare delivery slips and shipping documents in the software.
- Answer phone calls and redirect requests as needed.
- Track material shipments and produce required reports.
- Perform general office tasks (opening customer accounts, filing, billing, etc.).
- Provide coverage at our Laval branch as needed.
Qualifications To join our team:
- You have previous experience in a similar position (an asset).
- You are proficient in MS Office.
- You are organized, responsible, independent, and resourceful.
- You are able to work effectively as part of a team.
- You have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between our locations.
