About the role
We are looking for an experienced SAP VIM / SAP FICO Consultant to support invoice management, SAP Finance processes, system configuration, workflow, integration, and application support within an enterprise SAP environment. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and other stakeholders to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot system issues, support invoice processing solutions, and contribute to process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical support for SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and related SAP Finance processes.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP/VIM solutions.
- Configure and support VIM workflows, invoice processes, and business rules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve VIM, SAP FI, and invoice-related system issues.
- Support Accounts Payable and invoice processing activities within SAP.
- Work with technical and functional teams to support system integrations and interfaces.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and enhancement activities.
- Analyze existing invoice management processes and recommend improvements.
- Support system testing, including functional testing and UAT.
- Monitor and support production issues and provide timely resolution.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in SAP VIM, SAP FICO, SAP FI, or SAP Finance.
- Experience with SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) is highly preferred.
- Experience with OpenText VIM is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and invoice processing.
- Experience in SAP configuration, workflow, integration, or functional support.
- Ability to troubleshoot SAP/VIM issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business analysis skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional or technical solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
