Key Responsibilities

SAP PP Production Planning

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP functional processes and configuration.
• Understand and configure end-to-end production planning processes.
• Work with Material Master, BOM, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, and related master data.
• Configure and support Demand Management, MRP, Production Planning, and Shop Floor Control processes.
• Work on planned orders, production orders, order conversion, scheduling, confirmations, and order settlement.
• Handle production order creation, release, confirmation, goods issue, goods receipt, and related transactions.
• Support MRP-related activities including planning runs, exception messages, and procurement proposals.
• Analyze production planning requirements and provide appropriate SAP solutions.
• Support business users in resolving production planning and execution issues.

SAP QM – Quality Management

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP QM processes and configuration.
• Configure and support Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Quality Control, and Quality Notifications.
• Work with inspection types, inspection plans, characteristics, sampling procedures, and quality master data.
• Configure and support Inspection Lots and inspection processing.
• Handle inspection results recording, usage decisions, and stock posting.
• Work with quality notifications and defect management processes.
• Support integration between QM and procurement, inventory, production, and sales processes.
• Analyze quality-related business requirements and provide SAP QM solutions.
• Support users in resolving day-to-day quality management issues.

PP/QM Integration

• Strong understanding of SAP PP and QM integration.
• Experience in integrating quality inspection processes with production processes.
• Understand inspection lot creation during production and related quality processes.
• Support integration between PP, QM, MM, and other relevant SAP modules.
• Troubleshoot cross-module integration issues.
• Ensure smooth flow of master data and transactional data across integrated processes.

Implementation & Support

• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from functional teams.
• Prepare functional specifications and solution design documents.
• Configure SAP PP/QM based on approved business requirements.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and supporting documentation.
• Support defect identification, analysis, resolution, and retesting.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot functional issues.
• Participate in cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
• Provide end-user training and prepare user manuals where required.

Business Process & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business users to understand existing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Conduct requirement-gathering and solution discussions with functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and integrations.
• Provide functional guidance and support to junior team members.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different locations and teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of overall SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP PP and QM.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP functional configuration.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP QM functional configuration.
• Good understanding of end-to-end Production Planning and Quality Management processes.
• Experience in SAP PP/QM integration with MM and other SAP modules.
• Strong knowledge of SAP master data and transactional processes.
• Experience in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and/or production support projects.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Good understanding of SAP integration concepts and cross-functional business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Knowledge of modern SAP PP/QM processes in S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications is an advantage.
• Knowledge of integration with MM, SD, WM/EWM, or other SAP modules is desirable.
• Experience in working with global implementation or support teams is an advantage.
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery practices is a plus.
