About the role
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support finance-related SAP projects, business integration, system improvements, and data migration activities. You will work closely with Finance, IT, Project Management, and business teams to help improve financial processes, support SAP implementations and enhancements, and ensure that financial information and systems are properly aligned across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Support SAP FI/CO implementation, enhancement, and support activities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FICO processes based on business needs.
- Work with Finance and business teams to understand and improve existing processes.
- Support key SAP Finance areas including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, CO-PA, and Product Costing.
- Assist with financial data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
- Support business integration and organizational changes within SAP.
- Assist with Chart of Accounts and financial master data alignment.
- Participate in system testing, implementation, and enhancement activities.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test scripts, and project materials.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP FICO / SAP FI/CO.
- Good hands-on experience with SAP FI and CO.
- Experience with SAP implementation, enhancement, rollout, or support projects.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with financial processes such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
- Experience with data migration, data validation, or reconciliation is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with Finance, IT, business users, and project teams.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
