About the role
We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP Integration Suite Consultant to design, develop, and manage seamless integrations across diverse systems using SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP BTP and expertise in creating API-based, event-driven, and middleware integrations to enhance enterprise connectivity and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities :
- Integration Design & Development :**
-
Design and implement integrations using SAP Integration Suite tools such as Cloud Integration, API Management, and Event Mesh.

Develop integration flows (iFlows) for connecting SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and other third-party systems.

Build and expose APIs using SAP API Management to streamline system communications.
2. System Connectivity :
-
Enable seamless data exchange between on-premise systems and cloud applications using SAP's hybrid integration approach.

Configure and manage connectivity with SAP and non-SAP systems using adapters such as HTTP, OData, IDoc, and SOAP.
3. Middleware Expertise :
-
Utilize SAP BTP Event Mesh for event-driven integrations.

Apply advanced middleware solutions to handle large-scale data processing and orchestration.
4. Security & Monitoring :
-
Ensure secure integrations by implementing authentication mechanisms like OAuth, SAML, and certificates.

Monitor and troubleshoot integration flows, ensuring high availability and performance.
5. Collaboration & Training :
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver tailored integration solutions.

Provide training and support for internal teams on using SAP BTP Integration Suite tools.
**Qualifications :
Experience :**
-
5+ years of experience in system integration with at least 2 years using SAP BTP Integration Suite.

Proven track record of integrating SAP S/4HANA with other SAP and third-party systems.
Technical Skills :
-
Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.

Strong understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns (e.g., REST, SOAP, OData).

Knowledge of authentication protocols like OAuth and SAML.

Proficiency in Groovy scripting for custom iFlow development.
Additional Skills :

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
