About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Configuration Specialist – Logistics, Warehouse Management & Quality Management (LWM/QM) to join our Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management and Quality Management solutions. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver scalable business solutions that improve inventory visibility, warehouse efficiency, product quality, compliance, and operational performance. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM and SAP QM, with knowledge of integrated logistics, inventory, procurement, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to warehouse operations, inventory management, quality inspections, and logistics processes.
  • Configure and support SAP EWM processes including inbound receiving, putaway, picking, packing, warehouse movements, stock transfers, and physical inventory management.
  • Configure and support SAP QM processes including inspection planning, inspection lots, quality notifications, quality certificates, non-conformance management, and audit support.
  • Support integration between SAP EWM, QM, MM, PP, and Inventory Management processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve warehouse execution, inventory accuracy, quality compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop functional specifications and work with technical teams to deliver reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
  • Prepare and execute unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Support data migration, deployment, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization during project implementations.
  • Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely support for warehouse and quality management operations.
  • Maintain configuration documentation, process documentation, test scripts, training materials, and knowledge transfer artifacts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of SAP experience with hands-on configuration experience in Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution, and Quality Management processes.
  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) including inbound, outbound, warehouse execution, inventory management, stock transfers, and physical inventory processes.
  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP Quality Management (QM) including inspection planning, inspection processing, quality notifications, quality certificates, vendor quality management, and quality reporting.
  • Experience integrating SAP EWM and QM with SAP MM, PP, and Inventory Management processes.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, rollouts, enhancement projects, or application support engagements.
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and SAP configuration solutions.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, and quality compliance processes.
  • Experience supporting testing cycles, deployment activities, and production support.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across global cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel up to 10% as business needs require.

Desired Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA certification in EWM, QM, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience with warehouse automation technologies, RF devices, barcode scanning, and mobile warehouse solutions.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO quality standards, CAPA processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), APIs, middleware, and integration technologies.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and global manufacturing organizations.
