About This Role
This role is for a driven, customer-focused Automotive Salesperson to join a growing dealership team. It is a great opportunity to build a strong income in a fast-paced environment for someone confident, motivated, hardworking, and skilled at connecting with people.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers in person, online, and over the phone
- Understand customer needs and match them with the right vehicle
- Present vehicles, conduct test drives, and close deals
- Follow up with leads and build long-term client relationships
- Stay on top of inventory, pricing, and promotions
- Handle paperwork and the sales process in compliance with OMVIC standards
- Deliver a smooth and professional customer experience from start to finish
- Work as a team to complete daily dealership tasks and maintain an organized, efficient car lot
- Assist with picking up, dropping off, and transporting dealership vehicles to and from various locations as required
- Help with general lot duties, including organizing vehicles, maintaining vehicle presentation, and ensuring the dealership is ready for customers
- Support team members with day-to-day dealership operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Requirements
- OMVIC License (required or willingness to obtain – assistance can be provided)
- Sales experience (automotive or retail is a strong asset)
- Strong communication and closing skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and reliable
- A team player who is willing to assist with dealership operations beyond just selling vehicles
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment
- Basic computer skills (CRM, Excel, etc.)
- Valid driver
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take initiative
