About The Role We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Solution Engineer Inhouse Consultant (m/w/d) to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between business analysts and the development team, translating complex business requirements into effective technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will hold the technical and architectural responsibility for our Salesforce solutions, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initial conception to final implementation. Your expertise will ensure that our Salesforce architecture aligns with best practices, security standards, and scalability demands. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to evaluate requirements, conduct solution design reviews, and manage release processes across multiple Salesforce clouds. This position offers an excellent opportunity to shape innovative Salesforce solutions that support our operational excellence and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will bring several years of experience in Salesforce project environments, particularly in a technical leadership capacity. You should possess strong Apex development skills and have hands-on experience with various Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Field Service. A solid understanding of solution architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Platform Events) is essential. Familiarity with security concepts and best practices for Salesforce is also required. Methodologically, you should be comfortable working within agile teams and possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface between business analysts and the development team, translating business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
• Take ownership of the technical and architectural aspects of the Salesforce platform, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
• Create and review solution designs, technical specifications, and architecture documentation to maintain high standards of quality.
• Conduct code reviews within the Apex development environment to uphold code quality and adherence to standards.
• Provide guidance on technical trade-offs, including build versus configure decisions and the use of standard versus custom solutions.
• Ensure the implementation of Salesforce development best practices, focusing on governor limits, security, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the feasibility of requirements and advise on technical options early in the project lifecycle.
• Manage release processes and coordinate technical activities across all Salesforce clouds, ensuring smooth deployment and integration.
