About the Role We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer with 5 to 9 years of hands-on development experience, specializing in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud and Health Cloud implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong domain exposure to the Health Insurance and Life Sciences sectors, combined with deep technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and third-party system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customized solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Health Cloud and Service Cloud
- Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes to support complex business logic
- Develop reusable and performant Lightning Web Components (LWC) for enhanced user experience
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, third-party health/insurance platforms)
- Configure and customize Health Cloud features such as Care Plans, Patient/Member 360, Provider Relationship Management, and Utilization Management as applicable
- Work closely with business analysts and architects to translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards relevant to health insurance and life sciences (e.g., HIPAA)
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to Salesforce development best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high system availability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Owners in an Agile environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 59 years of overall Salesforce development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Health Cloud
- Prior experience working in Health Insurance and/or Life Sciences domain projects
- Strong proficiency in Apex (classes, triggers, batch/schedulable Apex, asynchronous Apex)
- Solid experience building components using Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Proven experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, external data sources)
- Good understanding of Salesforce data model, security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules), and governor limits
- Experience with SOQL/SOSL, Flow, and declarative automation tools
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD deployment pipelines (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Good to Have
- Experience with OmniStudio (OmniScript, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors)
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II, Health Cloud Accredited Professional, Sales Cloud Consultant
- Exposure to Salesforce Health Cloud data model (Care Plans, EHR data, Member/Patient records)
- Knowledge of HL7/FHIR standards (for health data interoperability)
